Community Partners are churches, food shelves and organizations who Ruby’s Pantry provides food and goods without cost so they may carry on their mission in their communities. We primarily serve rural communities in NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin. There are millions and millions of dollars of surplus food and goods and much of it is distributed in metropolitan areas. Many rural service organizations have little or no funds to help provide the basic necessities for people with low resources and in crisis in their communities. Ruby’s Pantry is a distribution center and Community Partners are invited to come to our warehouse in North Branch weekly at a designated time to pick up food and goods to distribute in their communities.

Ruby’s Pantry also distributes personal care items to Community Partners and provides many needed essentials for mothers and babies to Pregnancy Resource Centers.

Often Ruby's Pantry has been called upon by local organizations and individuals to supply snacks for the troops serving overseas. The local organizations pack and ship them.

Throughout the year Ruby’s Pantry collects toys that are distributed to the Community Partners and given to children in their communities at Christmas.

Ruby's Pantry has provided school supplies to home school students for students, private schools as well as public schools. Snacks are provided for day care centers and pre-schools whose mission is to help families.

Ruby's Pantry has provided food and goods to group homes whose purpose is to make a better life for those with special needs.

When called upon, Ruby's Pantry provided a semi load of milk, approximately 52,800 pounds, to the homeless and missions in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas on the border of Mexico.

Kinship of Rusk County needed prizes for their annual fund raising carnival and Ruby's Pantry provided them with about $10,000 worth of prizes and candy to bless the kids and fund their program. The Pregnancy Resource Center of Ladysmith also received need supplies at the same time.

At Christmas a call was received from the Helping Hands organization in Webster, Wisconsin that they had only half the toys they needed for their toy drive. Ruby's Pantry came to the rescue with a truck load of toys and food that blessed the community and surrounding area.

Ruby’s Pantry is about picking up corporate surplus, distributing it out of the warehouse to the Community Partners and into the hands of people, “turning waste into wellness!”
