A. Ruby's Pantry is a community outreach of Home and Away Ministries, Inc., a 501 C 3 non-profit corporation, and it is the mother organization.

Q. As a "faith based" Christian organization, does Ruby's Pantry serve only Christians?
A. No, the Salvation Army is a good comparison to our philosophy in helping people.

Q. What counties does Ruby's Pantry primarily serve in Minnesota?
A.  Ruby's Pantry primarily serves Pine, Chisago, Carlton, Kanabec, Mille Lacs. Sherburne, Washington and Isanti although we make ourselves available to people from other counties.

Q. What counties does Ruby's Pantry primarily serve in Wisconsin?
A. Ruby's Pantry primarily serves Burnett, Barron, Polk, St. Croix and Rusk.

Q. What role does Ruby's Pantry have in the food distributions programs in Minnesota?
A. Ruby's Pantry has provided surplus food when available upon request to foodshare programs in Forest Lake, Moose Lake, Ogilvie, Pine City, Hinckley, Askov, Isanti, Cloquet, Brookston and Lake Lena, Minnesota and Grantsburg, Webster, Luck, Frederic, Danbury and Siren, Wisconsin.

A. Ruby's Pantry is primarily supported by the generous gifts from individuals, civic organizations and churches. We also are applying for corporate and foundation grants to further fund the needs of people in rural communities.
