1.  What can I donate?

A:  We accept most vehicles and vessels including but not limited to cars, trucks, trailers, boats, RV's and real estate including land, timeshares and condos.

2.  Is my donation tax deductible?

A:  Yes.  We  are classified with the IRS as a non-profit charitable organizations.  Donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.  Individual tax situations vary so please check with a tax professional to determine what if any tax benefit you may receive. Please review IRS filing forms 8283 and instructions.

3.  What do I need to donate my vehicle?

A:  We would like the title to the vehicle, but if you do not have it please call us anyway.  It is possible that other arrangements may be made.  Please call us at 1-320-629-4777 Monday - Friday.

4.  My car hasn't run in years. Can I still donate it?

A: Yes, we are able to accept most vehicles running or not (exceptions include older vehicles whose value would not offset the cost of towing).  To find out if we can accept your vehicle, please complete and submit our online donation form.

5.  Can you pick up vehicles in all 50 states?

A: Yes, we are able to pick up accepted vehicles in the continental U.S.,  Hawaii and Alaska.

6.  How is the value of my car determined?

A: We suggest you review IRS Publication which sets forth the manner in which the IRS requires you to determine the value of your donated property.  If you have Adobe Acrobat Reader, then click here.  If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader, then click here and select Publ 526. In short, the IRS allows you, the donor, to assess the fair market value of your vehicle.  The Kelly Blue Book web site will be helpful in determining the value of your vehicle. If your car is valued at more than $5000, click here.

7.  How will the car be picked up?

A: We will arrange to have your vehicle picked up by one of our staff or towed away by a professionally licensed, bonded and insured towing company.

8.  How long will it take to pick up my car?

A: You will at least be contacted within three or four business days at the most.  If you need your car picked up sooner, please let us know as we may be able to make those arrangements as well.
